Harrick Refractor2™ Grazing Angle Accessory

The Harrick Refractor2™ is a compact accessory designed for grazing angle specular reflectance spectroscopy in FT-IR analysis. It features two SuperCharged™ wedged ZnSe windows that refract the infrared beam to and from the sample, reducing energy losses common with plane mirror designs. A pre-mounted, internal silicon polarizer enhances spectral contrast, optimizing sensitivity for thin film and coating analysis on metals and semiconductors.

This accessory offers a fixed 75° incident angle and an unobstructed horizontal sampling surface, supporting rapid sample throughput and simple alignment. It is well suited for quality control and laboratory FT-IR spectroscopy applications requiring precise and energy-efficient grazing angle measurements.
