The Water Heating Jacket is designed for temperature-controlled transmission spectroscopy of solid and liquid samples across a range from slightly above freezing to approximately 90°C. It supports spectral analysis from the Far UV through the Far IR regions.
Temperature modulation is achieved by circulating chilled or thermocirculated water through the jacket, which houses a removable liquid or solid sample cell. The unit features standard 3″ x 2″ slide mount compatibility for easy integration into FTIR spectrometer sample compartments. Connections to the jacket are made via 6mm O.D. tubing to an external thermocirculator.
