Golden Gate | Low Temperature ATR

The Golden Gate Low Temperature ATR is a high-performance FTIR accessory designed for analyzing liquid and solid samples within a temperature range of -150°C to 80°C. It features a thermally insulated copper and stainless steel dewar combined with an integral heater to maintain precise temperature control.

The accessory utilizes a monolithic diamond ATR crystal that is metal bonded into a tungsten carbide puck, eliminating adhesives and enhancing chemical resistance and durability. High thermal conductivity of the diamond ensures rapid thermal equilibration and accurate temperature measurement, supported by a thermal protection system to prevent thermal runaway during measurements.

  • Crystal sealing: Metal braze into tungsten carbide puck
  • Angle of incidence: 45°
  • Spectral range: ZnSe lenses 5000–700 cm-1, KRS-5 lenses 6500–400 cm-1 (optional)
  • Temperature range: -150°C to 80°C
  • Fittings: Dewar cap
  • Focusing optics: Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) lenses standard; optional KRS-5 lenses for extended low wavenumber access
