The Golden Gate In-Situ Reaction Cell is designed for single-reflection ATR spectroscopy monitoring of reactions within a heated and pressurized environment. It accommodates in-flow reactants via 1/8 inch Swagelok fittings and includes a cooling jacket to regulate temperature.
The cell volume is 24 ml, supporting pressure up to 2800 psi and temperatures up to 200 °C. Construction materials include Stainless Steel or Hastelloy selected according to chemical compatibility. The ATR crystal is a monolithic diamond, brazed into a tungsten puck ensuring mechanical and chemical robustness. An optional motorized variable speed stirrer with a sapphire shaft and integrated pressure cap is available to enhance sample homogeneity.
