The Electrical Heating Jacket by Specac is engineered for temperature-controlled spectroscopy of solid and liquid samples, spanning from ambient temperature up to approximately 250°C. It supports transmission spectroscopy across a broad spectral range, from the Far UV to the Far IR.
The jacket is powered via a dedicated 30-volt supply linked to a 4000 Series power controller and is designed to house various liquid or solid transmission cell holders. It integrates seamlessly into the sample compartment of FTIR spectrometers through a standard 3” x 2” slide mounting plate, enabling versatile analysis setups.
