The Harrick Praying Mantis™ High Temperature Reaction Chamber is engineered for diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy (DRIFTS) of powders with high surface area, ideal for studying heterogeneous catalysis, gas-solid interactions, photochemical reactions, and oxidation mechanisms. It enables spectroscopic measurements under rigorously controlled temperature and pressure conditions.
This reaction chamber integrates with the Praying Mantis™ accessory for both FT-IR and UV-VIS spectroscopy, supporting operation in a range of environments from high vacuum up to elevated pressures and temperatures up to 910°C. It is constructed using chemically resistant 316 stainless steel for durability and compatibility with reactive gases.
