Harrick Seagull™ Variable Angle Reflection Accessory

The Harrick Seagull™ Variable Angle Reflection Accessory is a versatile tool designed for FT-IR spectroscopy applications including powders, optical coatings, opaque substrates, films on opaque substrates, and slightly curved solids. It supports specular, ATR, and diffuse reflectance measurements with a continuously variable incident angle from 5° to 85°, enabling in-depth optical characterization without system realignment.

This accessory ensures the incident FT-IR beam is consistently focused and centered on the sample regardless of the angle, maintaining polarization and providing a direct angular read-out without requiring ATR angle corrections. Its PermaPurge™ feature allows angle adjustments without interrupting system purge, facilitating seamless measurements.
