Deep UV Reference (190 – 230 nm)

This Reference Material is designed to qualify the wavelength and absorbance scales of UV spectrophotometers specifically in the deep ultraviolet (UV) region between 190 nm and 230 nm. It addresses critical challenges such as availability of suitable reference matrices and the variable transmittance of UV-grade quartz below 200 nm.

The material comprises a proprietary TS8 solution exhibiting distinct absorption peaks within the deep UV spectrum, provided alongside a solvent blank. Both are contained in a matched pair of 10 mm pathlength far UV quartz cells with permanently heat-fused seals, ensuring stability and reproducibility. Certification includes absorbance values at approximately 191 nm (1.2 A), 209 nm (0.6 A), and 226 nm (1.0 A), as well as certified wavelength values at two bandwidths: 1.0 nm and 5.0 nm.
