The Deep UV Reference Material is designed for qualification of wavelength and absorbance scales in spectrophotometers operating within the deep ultraviolet range of 190 nm to 230 nm. It addresses the challenges inherent to deep UV spectrophotometry, including the variability of transmission in UV grade quartz below 200 nm.
This Reference comprises a proprietary TS8 solution exhibiting distinct absorption and transmission peaks in the deep UV region, contained alongside a solvent blank in a matched pair of 10 mm far UV quartz cells. Both cells are permanently heat-fused sealed to assure stability and reproducibility.
