Stray Light Specified Wavelength Method (200 – 390 nm)

Stray Light Specified Wavelength Method reference materials are designed to qualify the stray light performance of UV spectrophotometers according to the ASTM E387 standard. This method is recognized by both US and European Pharmacopoeias for instrument qualification.

The product range consists of liquid cut-off filters spanning wavelengths from 175 to 385 nm. These filters are permanently sealed in 10 mm high-quality far UV quartz cells via heat fusion, ensuring durability and reliable handling. The alkali halide stray light Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) comply with ASTM International E-387 specifications.

Features and Purposes
  • Covers stray light qualification from 175 nm to 385 nm wavelength range
  • Delivered in permanently sealed 10 mm quartz cells suitable for far UV applications
  • Compliant with ASTM E387 standard for stray light assessment
  • Utilizes liquid cut-off filters with sharp transition spectra for precise stray light cutoff
  • Suitable for monitoring instrument optics’ condition and stray light contributions, especially in far UV region
