This kit is designed to facilitate compliance with the International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) Q1B guidelines for drug photostability testing. It enables evaluation of the photostability characteristics of new drug substances and products, ensuring that light exposure does not cause unacceptable changes.

The kit includes four specially designed cuvettes, each equipped with a PTFE screw cap to ensure sample contact only with inert materials. Quinine sulfate is used as a standard for actinometry, exposed alongside the test substances under controlled ultraviolet light conditions.
