Neutral density glass filters designed for qualification of absorbance accuracy and linearity in near-infrared spectrophotometers with spectral bandwidths of 6.5 nm or less, covering 800 nm to 3200 nm wavelength range. The filters are mounted stress-free in anodised aluminium holders to ensure mechanical stability and spectral performance.
The optical properties are based on well-established Schott NG-type glasses suitable for near-infrared calibration. The transmission spectrum is relatively flat across the calibration range but shows significant deviation above 2700 nm. Certified calibration values in % Transmission and Absorbance are provided at 1100, 1700, 2210, 2500, and 2850 nm for three standard filters designated R1, R3, and I1.
