  • Stationary phase: 5% phenyl – 95% methylpolysiloxane (low polarity).
  • Applications: hydrocarbons, solvents, petrochemical products, environmental contaminants.

Wax (PEG)

  • Stationary phase: polyethylene glycol (high polarity).
  • Applications: alcohols, esters, aldehydes, oxygenated compounds, volatile fatty acids.
